Litigation is one of the Firm's areas of strength. We represent domestic and international companies in a broad range of matters, with a focus on employment litigation. Our clients include entities in financial services, manufacturing, entertainment, not-for profit, and real estate. Our attorneys have litigated the full spectrum of employment disputes.
Outside of the litigation context, our practice involves advice on human resources and employment matters of all kinds. We provide strategic planning, training, and preventative counseling. In addition, we prepare employee handbooks, draft agreements, conduct workplace and sensitivity training, and consult on the implementation of employment programs and policies, human resources systems, hiring and termination procedures, and personnel management.
Our appellate practice extends to the highest courts, including the United States Supreme Court, the federal circuit courts, the New York Court of Appeals, the Appellate Division, and other state appellate courts. We have represented both appellants and appellees, and have appeared as amicus curiae in matters relating to constitutional, statutory, regulatory, and common law issues.
